Harold Goldberg, David E. Underdown Distinguished Professor of History, was in Japan and Saipan in June to participate in events surrounding the seventieth anniversary of the decisive World War II Battle of Saipan.

16th annual Anita Goodstein Lecture “The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks”

Jeanne Theoharis of the City University of New York will give the 16th annual Anita S. Goodstein Lecture in Women’s History. Theoharis is the author of The Rebellious Life of Mrs. Rosa Parks (Beacon Press, 2013).
