Whitmer, MacLaren & Thompson win ACA/UNCA Undergraduate Research Award
Kelly Whitmer (History), Jeff Thompson (Art History) and Shelley MacLaren (Art History/University Art Gallery) recently won an ACA/UNCA Undergraduate Research Award to pursue a project entitled "Science and Art: Collections, Exhibitions and the Production of Knowledge." The project aims to generate new approaches to interdisciplinary undergraduate research in the humanities on the campus of the University of the South.
Professor McEvoy receives award from the city of Lima, Peru
In honor of her contributions through her research and publications, the Mayor's Office in Lima, Peru, has notified Professor Carmen E. McEvoy that she is to receive the Gold Medal of the City in a formal ceremony on January 18.
